Given its proximity to Rio, Penedo seems to be a romantic weekend getaway for people from the city. Therefore, lodging is luxurious and expensive for the most part.||It was already dark by the time we got there and drove into Chez Nous …

We enjoyed our stay, it was clean and comfortable, very spacious, the bed was nice and quiet. Some of the furniture are damaged but it is still working. The walls are a bit thin and you can hear the noughbours talk, the internet is great. Breakfast was very good, a lot of choice and delicious. 15 minutes walk from the centre, 4 minutes drive.

Very nice breakfast. Delicious strawberry pie. The rooms were ok, smelling like cleaning products. Children under 10 are not allowed. Although it allows pets. The owner has lots of very cute cats, but if you are allergic better avoid. All furniture was very new and clean.

Commenting on the good part: the inn is very simple. Our room was very spacious, had a small kitchen with a microwave, minibar and a balcony. The bathroom was large and with a hydro. The breakfast was very filling and very tasty. The staff was very friendly and attentive. There are plenty of places to park the car and the pool was great! The location was excellent, very close to the center, with lots of restaurant and shopping options. Now the bad part: well, for me the worst thing was the smell of sewage coming from the bathroom. That's terrible. We had to keep the door closed at all times. The Wifi in room 26 didn't work. There are several networks to connect to and none of them worked directly. Decor very outdated and of dubious taste. Other than that, it's worth the stay. If they improve the wifi and the bathroom problem, I would go back without any problems.

It is one of the first inns after the Penedo portal, easy to find. The room is comfortable, spacious, with a mini kitchen, excellent breakfast and several staff to assist you. Attention; It does not allow children under 6 years old, however, it encourages pets to stay.
